Three Day Weekend Power Yoga Workshops
& Friday Teacher Training Session with
Power Yoga Pioneer Bryan Kest
on Friday September 24th, Saturday September 25th
And Sunday September 26th, 2010
At Our Philadelphia Studio
In University City at 3527 Lancaster Avenue

Power Yoga Works is excited about bringing to Philadelphia one of the founders and pioneers of the power yoga revolution in America and the world. His popular videos, trainings, & workshops are world renowned. Now 41, Bryan Kest has been practicing yoga for more than 26 years. He initially studied in Hawaii with David Williams, the first person to bring Ashtanga yoga to America. He then studied in India with K. Pattabhi Jois, the main proponent of Ashtanga yoga. Kest has been teaching yoga for 21 years.

"My primary objective", says Kest, "besides turning more and more people on to a healthier, more peaceful lifestyle that continually challenges them to grow, is to teach a system of exercise that fully integrates the body, mind, and spirit."

"The old fitness mentality is over! We are way past tearing ourselves to shreds simply to be more aesthetically pleasing. Power Yoga is about working hard sensitively. It's about feeling good, not just looking good. The tone and shapeliness you attain from this work is a by-product. The focus here is balance and healing."

The three day workshop or two days if you choose, will be a sweat dripping transformative experience with a focus on balance and healing. There will also be a three hour teacher training session on Friday from 6PM - 9PM. The Friday night session is for teachers, aspiring teachers, and any student who seeks continued education on their power yoga practice and yoga theory. You can just choose to just do the Friday Night teacher training/continued education session, all three days including the teacher training session or just two days (Saturday and Sunday). Don't miss this weekend event! Every workshop at PYW has sold out and this will sell out quickly.
